The Taks service ("Service") is operated by TERRA VIS d.o.o., Istarska 12a, 40 000 Čakovec, Croatia, OIB: 59812916438, company registration number (MB): 5740517 ("Provider", "we", "us").
By creating an account or using the Service, you ("User", "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity.
Taks is a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for task management, deadline tracking, and team collaboration. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time, with reasonable prior notice where practicable.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Sharing account credentials with persons outside your organization is prohibited. The Provider shall not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access caused by your failure to safeguard your credentials.
All subscription plans include a free trial period of 45 days. No payment information is required during the trial. Upon expiration of the trial, access to the Service will be restricted to read-only mode until a paid subscription is activated. Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis, as selected by the User. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes (VAT). You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
You retain all rights, title, and interest in the data you enter into the Service ("User Data"). The Provider does not claim ownership of User Data. We access User Data solely to the extent necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Service, and as required by applicable law. Upon termination of your account, you may export your User Data for a period of 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.

We endeavour to maintain Service availability at 99.5% uptime on a monthly basis, excluding scheduled maintenance windows. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. Technical support is available via email at hello@taks.app.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service. The Provider's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the User in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Provider, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account. The Provider may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with prior notice where reasonably practicable. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 9, 10, and 12) shall continue in effect.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Čakovec, Croatia. Before initiating legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably within 30 days of written notice.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to Users via email or through the Service at least 15 days prior to taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
